Effective date: May 18, 2026
RecentContacts ("the App") is developed by Joe McCann. This policy describes how the App handles your data.
RecentContacts does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. There are no analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party services.
The App stores the following data locally on your device only:
This data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to any server operated by us.
The App requests access to your device's contacts solely to detect when new contacts are added. Contact data is read on-device and is never copied, uploaded, or shared. You can revoke contact access at any time in your device's Settings.
The App may request permission to send local notifications to remind you to tag new contacts. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. No push notification servers are involved.
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
If we update this policy, we will post the revised version here with a new effective date.
